The Pasadena Loves Local Workshop “Lights, Camera, Customers” will be held Thursday, March 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Community Transformation Church.
“These workshops were created to be open to the public, free of charge, and provide small businesses with the tools and resources they need to be successful, even if they don’t have a big budget to spend,” said Erin Webb, Vice President of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce.
The event aims to equip local business owners with practical video making strategies to help them attract and retain customers. It focuses on strengthening digital engagement and supporting entrepreneurs in the Pasadena community.
“The Workshop is designed for small to medium sized businesses who may not have the budget for a marketing specialist. This workshop would also be great for high school or college students looking to learn skills in video marketing,” says Webb.
The event reflects a broader effort to support local entrepreneurs in Pasadena.
“Supporting local businesses keeps money in the local economy, creates and sustains jobs, strengthens community relationships, and supports local causes and organizations,” says Webb.
Today, a strong social media presence combined with high-quality content can significantly increase brand visibility.
“Video and visual marketing are especially important for small businesses today because they help capture attention, build trust, and communicate value quickly in a digital environment where people consume large amounts of content every day,” says Webb.
The “Lights, Camera, Customers” workshop offers instruction in relevant skills while giving participants an opportunity to network and make connections with like- minded individuals in their community.
“The workshop is free to attend, but we ask that anyone interested in coming registers on the website. Free breakfast will be provided,” says Webb.
