The Office of Recruiting, with the help of the Orientation and Campus Tours (OCT), will host Fall Applications Night on the South and North Campuses of San Jacinto College to assist potential students with admissions and financial aid forms. Central Campus hosted the applications event in October.

Recruiters and OCT ambassadors will be on-site to help students through the steps in the application process while answering questions about enrollment procedures. Other resources include financial aid advice and assistance for non-native English speakers.

Recruiter Stephanie Funderburg said the presence of College representatives is helpful in what many view as a complicated course.

“These events are a good opportunity to get one-on-one assistance,” she said. Moreover, Funderburg said she hopes visitors can begin their “educational journey” while in attendance and understand the College will support them for the duration of their time at San Jac, “from completing their application to graduating.”

Fall Applications Night takes place from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Nov. 5 in Room 150 of the Welcome Center (S6) on the South Campus and from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in Room 104 of the Welcome Center (N6) on the North Campus.
