True Colors will take place between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on March 27 in Room 101 of the Interactive Learning Center (S12) on the South Campus.

The Student Engagement and Activities (SEA) office of San Jacinto College South Campus is presenting True Colors on March 27, a workshop aimed at teaching students about their personalities and demonstrating how different personality types can impact teamwork.

SEA Specialist Jill Johnson, the coordinator of the event, said the workshop is beneficial in several respects.

“We want students to learn about who they are, and we think this will help them succeed as a college student and help benefit society in their own way,” Johnson said.

True Colors is part of the Personal and Leadership Development workshop series that started last fall. It was developed in response to the preferences listed on evaluation sheets filled out by previous workshop attendees.

In addition to learning about personality types, Johnson said the workshop offers participants an opportunity to get to know others from the San Jac community.

“Networking with fellow college students,” Johnson said, “will be something all students that attend will able to take part of at the event.”
